Ishita Kishore was born in the year 1996 in Hyderabad, present-day Telangana. Ishita's father's name is Sanjay Kishore who is an officer in the Indian Air Force and mother is a retired teacher. Ishita also has an elder brother who is in the profession of lawyer.

Ishita was born in Hyderabad but Ishita has spent most of her life in Delhi. Ishita had come to Delhi after completing her early education from Hyderabad.

After completing her graduation from Delhi University, Ishita worked as a Risk Analyst with Ernst & Young Company for two years. Since Ishita's father is in the Indian Air Force, Ishita has inherited the spirit of serving the country from her father. After working as an analyst for two years, she left the job and started preparing for civil services.

Additionally Ishita Kishore was also a part of the Commerce Society at Shri Ram College of Commerce where she has served as a secretary till 2016 and she organizes different events every year in the society.
